How we operate.....
All players are required to be members of the club. Our sessions are very popular and as such, we cannot accommodate casual, pay-as-you-play attendance.
As a member, each player is allocated a spot in a training squad and issued a Tigers branded reversible training vest.
Player fees are based on approx. £8 per hour. This can often be discounted for certain groups as and when we are successful in receiving grant funding support. Fees are paid monthly, via our 360Player app, which also helps us schedule and communicate events across the club.
Player fees cover a single season (Sept - May). If a player joins mid season, the fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis. If a player decides to leave the club, mid-season, fees can be cancelled immediately.
Many of our squads will have the opportunity to play competitive matches throughout the season. This tends to incur additional match fees.
In exceptional circumstances, players may receive a reimbursement on their fees if they are unable to attend on a regular basis (e.g. significant injury). Otherwise, payments remain the same each month, regardless of how many sessions the player attends.
Generally speaking, our junior squads tend not to train during school holidays. This is factored into the player fees.
Torbay Tigers is a Charity. Every penny we receive goes back into the running of the club.
